The Ukrainian brand of musical instruments with a long history presents a new and improved line of guitars under the Sun City brand! This line takes into account all the wishes of our customers!

Trembita guitar factory is located in Lviv, Ukraine and its the only acoustic guitar factory in the country. Our history starts back from 1945 as a piano factory. In 1946 factory started its first production of guitars and mandolins.

Since 1988 it was branded "Trembita". Trembita is one of Ukrainian folk instruments used by people who lived in Carpathian mountains. They used it as a comunication instrument as well as musical instrument. For years we tried to keep up with world standarts and traditions in guitar making.

But this year we decided to make something different. We used a list of innovative solutions developed by Thunderwood Guitars brand.

With these innovations we made a completely new and different guitar making technology than we used before. Here's what it is.

Bolt-on neck joint: - Its easy to make a guitar setup. You can change neck agle with ease in few minutes. To make a neck reset you just loosen the strings, unscrew two bolts, take out the neck without taking off the strings, do a little sanding or add a needed spacer and screw the neck back tune a guitar and it's done. No costly and risky neck detachment from body.

It reduces weight of a guitar and makes upper frets reachable even without a cut away in a body. If needed, you can always order a new neck or a different wood or color neck : or even a wider nut neck and leave a previous guitar body you like. It sets a perfect string action above first fret. And with zero fret you can use different string gauges without any additional setups. For example (without a zero fret) you wanted to try thicker strings.

You have to make string slots wider at the nut to keep a desired action. You tried, you didn't like it and you want to return back to thinner gauge. In such situation most likely you will need to replace your nut with a new one that has narrower slots. With zero fret you don't have to cut a nut, because its lower than a zero fret and string rests on the fret. Role of the nut is to keep the spacing between strings.

We made a guitar building process based on computer aided machinery so we can get a constant quality of our instruments. We use laser cutter to cut out our tops, backs, kerfing, bracing, rosette engraving, fret slot cutting. We use CNC routers to make the necks.

And that's not a full list. Neck without a heel, lightweight bracing, thinner top - it all affected the total weight of an instrument. It became much lighter than an average acoustic guitar on the market. Light weight means more resonance and it just more comfortable to play the instrument. Orchestra model all Sapele body, natural color, open pore satin finish. Scale - 628,65 mm. Nut width - 43 mm. 20 Frets + zero fret. Body - All composite sapele (top, back and sides) No binding. Neck - 3 ply maple (natural, no stain color). Fretboard and bridge - Beech. Nut and saddle - premade plastic. Truss rod cover - Wooden with engraved logo.
